EIGHTH WEEK - MANCHESTER CUP 2017

It seems to be a traditional event where TNS goes every year during the Easter holidays.

The tournament is a stage for teams from around the world to come and perform in front of English Premier League scouts, all looking to find the future stars of the game. Set at the Manchester Leading University Sports Complex, the tournament is played out on 26 full grass pitches in front of thousands of supporters cheering their team on to become Manchester Cup champions. It's played during a weekend and the first day starts with the group games and the second day have semifinals and finals. Depending of your results you play to be the champions champion, the challenge champion, the cup champion or the manchester cup, it's what we could understand as a final, 3rd-4th position, 5th-6th position and 7th-8th position.

The tournament was very positive for TNS, U7 finished in the 4th position, U8 finished in the 3th position, U9 won the tournament in an easy final wining 6-0 against FC Boatmans, U10 won the tournament in a very challenged final against Derby County where we won in penalties, U11 finished 2nd losing the final 1-0, U12 finished also 2nd losing the final 3-0 against Highgate FC, U13 finished 2nd losing the final 1-0 against Cre8tive Football Academy, U14 won the tournament 2-0 against Fletcher Moss Rangers, U15 also won the tournament 3-0 against Prestwich marauders and to finished U16, the team which I'm training every day with Jason, we won the tournament 4-3 against Mungret Regional FC, an Ireland team.

It was a really good weekend for the club and the players achieving great results and having fun.
