SIXTH WEEK - Second part

Sometimes football make us understand that not always could win the team that plays better.

After an amazing season of TNS U16, playing great football and wining practically all their matches, we arrived to quarter finals of the Welsh cup competition that's done at the end of the season. Against us a really complete team, Cefn druids who defending a big part of the time arrived to the penalties and won the match.

The match started very good for TNS, in the first minute we were wining 1-0 with a magnificent goal of Ismail Ozdemir, but till we were attacking all the match Cefn goalkeeper was amazing and we can't scored again. At minute 65, after a big mistake when we were starting the play from the back, they drew the match and it went to the extra time and the penalties where again the Cefn goalkeeper was decisive stopping two of the three TNS penalties.

That type of games makes us realise how important is to score in football where the team who wins is the one that scores one more goal that the other but in my point of view it's also important to analice the tempo of the team during the game and the way we have to read the game depending if we are wining, drawing or losing the game.

I think that a weak point of English football, they still playing in the same manner all the game and it doesn't matter if they are wining so it was an important thing that we were talking about with Jason, the U16 coach to improve the mentality of the players and the knowledge of how to act depending of the situation that they have in front.
