TENTH WEEK - When the friends come

Not all in live is work and many times the best moments are those that we share with ours friends and that's what I did this weekend when my best friends came to see me. As you could imagine, it doesn't matter if I'm working or not, football is always present in my life so we did a total tour of football between Manchester and Liverpool.

They arrived on Saturday afternoon and we went to look around Manchester and eat something out, we didn't go too late to sleep cause on Sunday morning we were going to see Old Trafford - The Theatre of dreams -, a big place for the football history where we saw a premier league game between Manchester United and Swansea that finally ends in a draw.

When the game finished we get a train to go to Liverpool and there see Anfield and Goodison Park, as you know, the Liverpool and Everton stadiums, so in one day we'd seen 3 top Premier League stadiums, I know that you could think we are crazy but that's what people who love football do, and the ones that goes with them too (thank you my lovely friends).

Not all was football so we went to the Cavern and we went through the most famous street where the Beatles played songs and we expend a really nice day out in Liverpool. I know that probably now you'll think that if someone comes to see you it could be probably enough football in the visit but it wasn't all.

On Monday, that was the last day, we went to the Etihad complex to do the Manchester City tour and expend some time learning about what I think it's a really advanced academy and training complex that probably not far away it will provide them to create good players and to be again the Premier League champions and compite agains the top clubs of the world. There I understood that probably the Guardiola project was this time a future project that was not looking for a short term result this season if not it's a project that's focused in the next two or three years.

Here you've attached lots of photos of our trip to Manchester and Liverpool, hope you enjoy them.

The last three images are for me a gift for the coaches, cause that's probably the most preparated change room I've ever seen to change things on the half time and give the possibility to the players to see what's been wrong in the first half and which are the rival weak points. As you could see that's the Manchester city locked room and there Pep Guardiola and his coaches team have one projector and an interactive board where they could show to the players what is happening in the game in the half time and mark the things with the different coloured pens that they have with the board. They also have a normal board to anote anything they want and a coaching board to introduce the line up and the rival line up.
