As many clubs do, when we arrive to the end of the season there are organized the lunchs and dinners to share some time together with all the club families and to recognise the best players of the season.

Unfortunately in my Spanish club that tradition that was used to be doned has not take place in the last five years.

It was very nice for me to live that type of dinners again cause they took me to the past and I had the possibility to remember how happy I was when I was a player and I was participating in that dinners.

In The New Saints we celebrate two dinners, one for the academy players, divided in three time zones, one for U7 to U10, another for U11 to U13 and the last one for U14 to U16, and the other dinner was for the first team where not only came the players families, they came the sponsors, fans and Jeff Stelling, the Sky Sports sports journalist.
